Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Liberty Bagels Midtown New York π₯― A lovely spot for fresh, colourful bagels with a great variety of flavours, fillings and combinations to choose from. The bagels are made fresh and thereβs a really good selection, so thereβs something for everyone. We visited as a pair and were served within around 10β15 minutes, which was reasonable considering how busy it can get. The location is also very convenient, right in Midtown and close to some of New Yorkβs main attractions. The bagels were fresh, tasty and filling, and the colourful selection makes them really fun to choose from. Definitely worth stopping by if youβre in the area! π₯―π½

The bagels were really good! I was a bit skeptical at first about having one for lunch and then another for dessert, but both options were great. The place was packed, and they don't give you much time to choose when it's your turn, so definitely check the menu before getting in line. Once you order and pay, you have to wait among the crowd for your name to be called. Despite all the hustle, the flavor is fantastic. Highly recommended!

Visited this shop on a Saturday and it was packed! This place would be the definition of organized chaos...you order at the counter and doesn't take long before you get your bagels. I had the egg and cheese on the everything bagel with a generous spread of cream cheese. Bagel could have been toasted a bit longer but otherwise they were good. Not too doughy or chewy, just right.

This one is close to MSG NYC. Food We came specifically to try the New York Knicks bagel with the orange and blue bagel, but unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The bagel itself wasnβt very tasty, the eggs tasted low quality, the meat lacked flavor, and the hash brown was greasy. Overall, the meal just didnβt taste fresh. Iβve honestly had fresher bagels and better quality breakfast food from a street food truck for half the price. Service The service wasnβt rude, but it also wasnβt particularly welcoming. The staff prepared our order quickly, which we appreciated, but the interaction was fairly average or mid. Atmosphere The restaurant is very busy and feels a bit unorganized. When you walk in, there are people standing around waiting for their orders, making it difficult to tell where the line begins. Itβs definitely more of a grab-and-go spot than a place where youβd expect great service or a relaxing atmosphere. Overall For two breakfast bagels and two orange juices, our bill was nearly $40. Considering the quality of the food, we felt it was a complete waste of money. Unfortunately, this experience did not live up to the hype, and we would not return or spe

I absolutely loved the food here. I visited here twice during my stay. One time I got a bacon, egg and cheese and the other time I got the New Yorker (brisket, hashbrown, and eggs). I also tried the double chocolate chip muffin and it was great. I bought some multiple varieties of bagels this morning to bring home to my family. It's a bit pricey, but worth it if you're not going every day. I also got one of the rainbow bagels for my nephew. The first time the line was long, but it moved quickly. The second time there was only a small line inside. The staff are very friendly. I plan to go back on my next trip to NYC.
